The integrative approach:

The integrative approach to counseling and coaching blends various styles to meet each client's unique needs at any given time. Behavior, emotions, thoughts, body, spirituality, and social environment are interconnected and influence one another. What works for one person may not be suitable for another, and the integrative model offers flexible and adaptable therapy tailored to the individual.

The goal is to bring the various aspects of a person into harmony. By increasing self-awareness, integrative counseling unites the psychological, emotional, physical, and social parts of each client, allowing these elements to work together as a fully integrated whole.

Counseling or Coaching

What is Coaching?

Coaching is a practical approach to gaining control over a specific situation. Through coaching, you can unlock your potential and maximize your performance.

Coaching is ideal for anyone seeking to learn more effective behaviors or pursue personal development. It provides both insights and practical tools to tackle your challenges.

The emphasis is on personal growth, boosting self-confidence, and increasing motivation. Integrative coaching focuses on the relationship between you and the outside world, with an emphasis on the present moment.

What is Counseling?

A counselor helps with emotional, psychosocial, and psychosomatic issues.

Counseling is used when coaching alone isn’t enough, or when you temporarily need more psychological support: you know what to do, but it still doesn’t work at crucial moments. This often means an inner blockage is holding you back.

Integrative counseling focuses on exploring and working through your inner world and the unconscious, and is centered on the here and now.

Customized Treatment Plan

Each client receives a personalized treatment plan, subject to adjustments as needed during counseling. The goal is to strengthen resilience, foster development, and nuturing self-assurance.

The duration of this brief therapy varies for each person.

How Does the Process Work?

In our initial meeting, we will discuss your concerns, your goals, and the steps needed to achieve them.

In the following sessions, we will focus on conversations and exercises to increase your self-awareness, making it easier to reach your goals. The process is personal and tailored to your specific needs. On average, achieving the desired results requires about 5-6 coaching sessions. For counseling, the average is around 8-15 sessions.

Each session lasts 60 minutes and typically takes place every 2 weeks. The process can be initiated either at the request of an employer or on your own initiative.

As a coach/counselor, I adhere to the general provisions of the WGBO and the ethical code of conduct in this field. If necessary, I use the complaints procedure of my professional association..
