About me:

Our inner lives shape our actions in our outer lives

In addition to my work as a professional violinist, I decided to expand my knowledge and pursue my other passion professionally: human (self) awareness. Understanding how our inner lives shape our outer experiences is key to personal growth. As an integrative counselor and professional musician, I combine my love for music with my understanding of human emotions and experiences. Guiding the development of so many different individuals is an incredibly special and rewarding experience for me.

Currently, I run my own practice for integrative counseling and coaching. My doors are open to anyone seeking guidance, whether they are feeling stuck or simply need professional support to regain fulfillment.

My practice welcomes anyone who desires change or finds themselves at a challenging point in life. Whether it’s dealing with an inner conflict, burnout, stress, work pressure, anxiety, loss, grief, letting go of old beliefs, or seeking personal growth, I support you with warmth, calm, and empathy.

Coaching/counseling qualifications:

I completed my training at the Nederlandse Academie voor Psychotherapie where I earned several diplomas, including Integrative Coach, Integrative Counselor, and PSBK (Western Medicine Fundamentals). I am currently training to become a ECP certified therapist at the same institution.

In addition, I have pursued various programs at TC Academy Utrecht, such as the Professional Certified Coach (post-grad CPION, SPHBO) in 2016-2017 and The Coaching Way with Tara Mohr (certificate 2021-2022). I also hold a diploma as a Professional Coach Practitioner from NOBCO.

Music Bio:

Alongside my journey as a versatile violinist, where I engage with a broad spectrum of music—from baroque and jazz to contemporary compositions—I have embraced another rewarding path: exploring historical performance practice. My fascination with the evolution of music and its instruments has been a driving force behind my artistic growth and expression.

This passion has led me to collaborate with renowned ensembles such as Orchestre Révolutionnaire et Romantique, Freiburg Baroque Orchestra,  the Orchestra of the 18th Century, and Il Faro Quartet. These experiences have allowed me to blend historical authenticity with the vibrant energy of modern performance. I have also had the pleasure of serving as a guest leader with orchestras like Anima Eterna, English Baroque Soloists, and The King’s Consort, as well as performing with the Chamber Orchestra of Europe, The Concertgebouw Orchestra, and other ensembles—opportunities that have broadened my musical horizons and deepened my connection to the music.

In addition to these collaborations, I had the privilege of holding the position of concertmaster for the Amsterdam Baroque Orchestra and the Metropole Orchestra, where I led performances that celebrate both tradition and innovation.

Currently, I am the Director of Jumpstart Jr. Foundation, a musical instrument fund based in Amsterdam. In this role, I focus on preserving and promoting the use of historical instruments, ensuring that the timeless beauty of this musical heritage continues to inspire and influence future generations. My work constantly reminds me of the profound connection between history and music and it continues to inspire me in everything I do.
